SCI-TECH is a student-driven project under Kulliyyah of Engineering since 2019. ENGINIUS (External Affairs Bureau) & IIUM staff are leading all SCI-TECH activities, in collaboration with national and international organizations for the targeted beneficiaries, focusing on acculturation science and technology.
In general, SCI-TECH aims to support improvement in the current education system for specific needs students such as indigenous and other minority groups with additional opportunities and inclusivity. This project is considered one of the initiatives in the educational transformation to produce balance students (faith, knowledge, and good character) and harmonious Sejahtera.

Dr. Hasmah is currently a Deputy Dean (Student Development & Community Engagement) at Kulliyyah of Engineering, IIUM. She is also a Chartered Engineering (CEng) certified by Engineering Council, The Institute of Engineering Technology (IET) the United Kingdom. She is a Senior Member of the Institute of Electrical & Electronics Engineering (IEEE) and actively involves in IEEE Instrumentation & Measurement Society Malaysia Chapter.
