Root To Success (RTS) Leave a Comment / - / By student-group6 RTS 2.0 was conducted in March 2023 where the program started with the opening ceremony accompanied by a speech by the school principal, Cikgu Roslan Bin Sulaiman, YDP PIBG, Encik Yaswadi bin Mat Yasim, and the project manager, Br Zakaria Zikri. Continued with an ice-breaking session with a total of 60 SK Batu Tujuh students. Introducing, Root To Success (RTS), a STEM Project initiated by Mahallah Ali Representative Committee 22/23 (MRC) in collaboration with Mahallah Asiah Representative Committee. This project is conducted mainly to increase interest among primary school students; in Year 5 primary school through practical activities and events that were conducted based on three main principles which are Intellectual, Sports, and Leadership.Do support our effort in making the world a better place by sharing our page with your family and friends! 🫶🏻@rtsroot2success on Instagram! The day continued with a grouping session assigning each group a facilitator from IIUM led by our emcees, Br Niyaz & Br Sufyan.A little bonding activity was conducted before proceeding to many more group activities to increase the chemistry between the facilitators and students. The teamwork by each group was fascinating considering its the first day of the program. <3 Day 2 is finally a tuition day! The students’ knowledge in Sciences and Mathematics was empowered by our Module Team which is also an Engineering Students from IIUM. Facis of each group and other committees were also playing an important role in guiding the students to solve the question provided by our Module Team. We also encouraged the students to solve the problem in front of the class and explain it to their friends to increase their confidence and improve their social skills. After a longgg day of tuition, the students finally had an outdoor activity. All of them including us the committees are having a lot of fun playing in a team, triggering their competitive spirit throughout the games. The third day started with a STEM Exhibition prepared by our Modules Team. The booth was monitored by trained committees explaining the science concept for each booth to the students. The journey was then continued with explorace game! Checkpoints were located around the school compound with a lot of games testing their teamwork and STEM knowledge. Last but not least, our program ended with a closing ceremony, including a speech by the school principal, as well as a prize giving ceremony.
